Born in 1946, Bernard Thiebaut, an artist and painter, exhibits his artwork in the village of Castellet, in the Var region of France.

"He paints landscapes by playing with warm colors and dark bluish-purple shadows. Through his unique technique, he is able to demonstrate that it is color itself that is the essence of everything, and this never-ending quest allows him to create paintings where light creates depth and relief in his composition. He does not seek to reproduce the landscape, but to reveal the landscape's poetic nature."
